- Chemistry Section:

Marking Scheme Followed In JEE Mains:
For MCQs, there are 60 MCQs available in the JEE mains entrance test. For every correct answer, a student receives four marks. However, for a wrong answer, a student will go through negative marking i.e. 1 mark.
For Numerical value type questions, there are 15 questions compulsory for a student to go through while attempting JEE Mains Exam. A student is rewarded four marks each for correct answers and as for the wrong answer, a student gets negative marking i.e. 1 mark.
